Here at Canine Campus Patrick and Jodi Ireland have over 20 years experience with training and handling pets.

It all began when Patrick was a young boy. He already had a love for all kinds of animals and with very patient parents was able to care for many of them as pets. By being utilized as a decoy, Patrick began his career assisting his grandfather who worked with local law enforcement. He received his formal training while serving as an apprentice under a master trainer for almost two years. A local in-home training company then hired him to perform obedience and protection training. At the same time, Patrick received a degree in Animal Science and worked as a veterinary technician. He went on to volunteer helping train canines for owners with disabilities. Patrick then became lead trainer for a local kennel, training dogs in basic and advanced obedience and later took on the roll as kennel manager. After serving as kennel manager for four years, Patrick resigned to start his own company. He also has worked as a county Animal Control Officer and is currently a Certified AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator.

His wife Jodi has 5 years experience as a Kennel manager as well as having apprenticed under a master trainer in basic and advanced obedience training. She is also a Certified AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator.
